TwoEggFrypan Privacy Policy

Effective date: 29 July 2026

1. Purpose
This Privacy Policy explains how TwoEggFrypan collects, uses, stores and discloses personal information. We aim to handle information transparently and consistently with applicable Australian privacy law.

2. Information we collect
We may collect account details such as username, display name, email address, password hash, invitation relationships and account status; profile information you choose to provide; posts, comments, reactions, messages, images and other content; reports, moderation records and support communications; security and technical information such as session identifiers, login times, approximate network information, browser information, error records and rate-limit events; and usage information needed to operate quests, notifications, feeds and other features.

3. How we collect information
We collect information directly from you, from the member who invited you, through your use of the service, and from automated security and operational systems. We do not ask you to provide sensitive information unless it is necessary and lawful; avoid posting information you do not want others to see.

4. Why we use information
We use information to create and secure accounts; provide social, messaging, invitation, group, page and quest features; apply privacy choices; detect abuse and technical faults; investigate reports; communicate essential notices; maintain records of policy acceptance; improve and administer the service; comply with law; and protect users, the public and our legal rights.

5. Disclosure
Information is disclosed to other users according to the feature and privacy setting you select. We may disclose information to hosting, email, security or technical service providers acting for us; to professional advisers; when required or authorised by law; to respond to immediate safety risks; or as part of a business transfer subject to appropriate protections. We do not sell personal information.

6. Messages and private content
Private messages are intended for their participants, but authorised administrators may access limited information or content when reasonably necessary to investigate reports, maintain security, comply with law, or resolve serious technical problems. Access should be limited, auditable and proportionate.

7. Storage and security
We use access controls, password hashing, session controls, private media storage, logging and other reasonable safeguards. No online system is completely secure. You should use a unique password and promptly report suspected compromise.

8. Retention and deletion
We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes above. Account deletion removes or de-identifies information where practical, but some records may be retained for backups, security, fraud prevention, legal obligations, dispute resolution, moderation integrity, and content already shared or quoted by others.

9. Access and correction
You may review and update much of your information through your account. You may request access to or correction of personal information held about you, subject to lawful exceptions. We may need to verify identity before acting.

10. Overseas processing
Hosting or service providers may process information outside Australia. Where this occurs, we will take reasonable steps appropriate to the service and applicable law to protect the information.

11. Cookies and sessions
We use essential cookies and similar session mechanisms for login, security, preferences and core functionality. The service does not currently rely on optional advertising cookies. This policy will be updated if that changes.

12. Changes and complaints
Material changes will be communicated through the service and may require renewed acceptance. Privacy questions or complaints may be submitted through the site's reporting or administration contact facilities. We will consider complaints in good faith and explain available escalation options where applicable.
